Aimé Cezaire (1939), Martinique
Padre del movimento della "negritudine", Aimé Cezaire scrive sul suo quaderno di scolaro le parole della colera, della rivolta e della ricerca identitaria per fare nascere la sua opera poetica maggiore. Scriverà "Quaderno d'un ritorno al paese natale", publicato in 1939, data del suo ritorno in Martinique. Insegna alla scondaria superiore di Fort de France.
In 1941 fonda la rivista Topiques. In 1950 suo discorso sul colonialismo diceva sotto la forma d'uno libello tutta la sua ostilità al colonialismo europeo. La politica , la poesia ma anchè il teatro li piacono... Cezaire è un drammaturgo. Il suo pensiere si trova all' incrociamento di tre influenze : la filosofia delle luce, il panafricanismo ed il marxismo.
